Saffiyah Coker is a senior at Tufts University double majoring in Economics & International Relations. She joins MLRI as a Tisch Scholar at Tufts University - a cohort of individuals committed to advocating for fellow community members and promoting civic empowerment. Saffiyah has previously interned with the Massachusetts Voter Table, the City of Boston, and the Massachusetts State House. As a native Bostonian, Saffiyah looks forward to aiding her neighbors and lending to MLRI’s mission of statewide advocacy and leadership for low-income people and communities.
