Kate Cressey

Kate is a 1L at Northeastern University School of Law with a bachelor's degree from Stanford University.  She majored in Psychology and minored in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity (CSRE) and Spanish. While at Stanford, she worked in psychology labs researching social discrepancies and solutions and volunteered on projects working to advocate for the elimination of life without parole sentences. Kate is passionate about the intersection of psychology and the law, advancing racial equity, and addressing structural racism in areas such as education, housing, and the criminal justice system. Kate is thrilled to join the Equity Team and looks forward to contributing to the mission of the MLRI.
