Child Welfare Intern

Jack Donahue

Jack is currently a 3L student at Harvard Law School as part of the Berkeley-Harvard Exchange Program, and he is ecstatic to join in MLRI’s child welfare work this semester! As a survivor of childhood abuse, he has spent his time in law school preparing for a career in domestic violence and/or child advocacy law. He has worked as a clinical intern at a family justice center in Oakland, writing declarations and conducting interviews for Domestic Violence Restraining Orders. He has also worked with Public Advocates, assisting this SF-based movement lawyering group’s education team with legal research and writing in a variety of respects. Though from the North Shore, he is married to a Californian and intends to move back to the West Coast. He enjoys playing tennis and hiking with his rescue pup, Nellie.
