Emma Kane
Immigration Intern
Emma Kane is a rising 3L at Boston College Law School. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Sociology from Boston College. Last fall, Emma was a Student Attorney in BC Law's Civil Rights Clinic where she represented a low-wage worker in a wage theft case and assisted three undocumented immigrants with applications for Deferred Action for Labor Enforcement. She is also an Articles Editor on the Boston College Law Review and a Teaching Assistant for the first-year legal research and writing course. Prior to law school, Emma was an AmeriCorps Member at Project Citizenship in Boston, MA where she helped Lawful Permanent Residents apply for U.S. citizenship. She also worked at a small immigration firm in Brookline, MA. She is passionate about supporting immigrant communities and is excited to join MLRI's immigration practice group this summer.
