Ben Levine
Housing and Homelessness Staff Attorney
Ben Levine Joined MLRI in 2025 as a housing and homelessness attorney. Prior to MLRI, Ben was a staff attorney at Central West Justice Center where he represented tenants in eviction proceedings across the Central and Western parts of Massachusetts. Before moving to Massachusetts, Ben was a staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society in New York City, where he was part of the first class of attorneys hired as part of the country’s first right to counsel program in housing court. In addition to direct representation, Ben has organized housing advocates and tenants pushing to expand right to counsel for housing court and for stronger tenant protections. Ben received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and J.D. from Boston College Law School and was a public interest legal fellow.
