Allie Girouard has a BA in Sociology and American Studies and a Certificate in Community Action and Public Policy from Connecticut College. She is passionate about building cities that allow equitable and joyous communities to grow and flourish. She joined MLRI as the Project Assistant for the COVID Eviction Legal Help Project. Previously, she was the Community Manager at the nonprofit CultureHouse, where she helped create community spaces in vacant storefronts. She lives in a co-op in Somerville where she spends most of her time petting cats and playing board games.
